Stayed July 2019

My friend and I stayed the night before attending Brimfield Market; we couldn’t have chosen a more wonderful B&B and we will definitely be back! The Elias Carter House is an historic gem right in the heart of town and walking distance to the market. Parking there helped immensely with transporting our purchases back and forth. Our room with en suite bathroom was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious….Lori and Wayne really know how to welcome guests and ensure they have a memorable experience. Their service felt effortless and unobtrusive; so much nicer than a hotel/motel environment. The thoughtful touches like complimentary waters to go and small snacks to keep you going through the long day of shopping were much appreciated.
PS: Wayne makes fabulous gin & tonics

Reviews of Elias Carter House

My co-worker and friend Barb and I have been coming to Brimfield for approximately 20 years. At first just for the day then for 2 days and now for 3 days.

We have stayed with Lori and her family for the past 5 years and feel very lucky to have found her!  We always feel welcomed from the moment we pull into the driveway.  The location of the home cannot be beat and the hospitality of Lori and her family are unsurpassed. Rooms are very comfortable, a delicious breakfast in the morning will get you going, and afternoon conversation and a glass of wine with Lori are all the reasons we love staying. We have also begun a sort of comradery with the other guests that stay during the time we are there!  It is a comfortable, relaxed, and friendly home.
Barb and I look forward all year long to our return to the Elias Carter House to shop, and spend time with our once a year friends!

My husband and I have been staying with Lori and Wayne every May for the spring Brimfield Antique Show since they began running the Elias Carter House B&B, and we look forward to the stay every year. The home is charming and its inhabitants even more so! Each room is beautifully decorated with antique pieces, yet they have all of the modern amenities you could need. The common area is thoughtfully arranged to create a sense of home and encourage conversation and relaxation. In general, the home is an ideal location for those wanting to shop “Brimfield,” which was our initial reason for booking; however, Lori and Wayne are what make this trip so special for us.  They are able to accommodate our varying needs beautifully, whether it’s a 5am breakfast on-the-go or a leisurely wake-up. Wayne’s sense of humor, Lori’s attention to details, and both of their hospitality make this bed and breakfast worth the booking!
